What's so maddening, Harvey, is that any talk of countries with humane health care causes people with teabags dangling from their hats to start shouting "Socialism!" Many if not most of these same people are the very ones who stand to gain most from a public alternative to private health insurance. Doing nothing will soon mean that all of us--that's ALL of us--will be hurt. Those who are indifferent to the fate of the 40+ million without insurance remind me of the man in a sinking boat who refuses to bail because he's not responsible for the leak.
