Cran-Apple Cobbler-tini

by Sandra Neish

Again, we have a wonderful recipe courtesy of Brian Washburn, the Artistic Director of the Robert Andrew iSalon in Gambrills, MD and the Best Damn Hairstylist in the Northeast.  It is due to him that my hair always looks it’s best and his color instincts/skills are absolutely fabulous!

Here’s the recipe for a glorious Cran-Apple Cobbler-tini in recognition of today, the official first day of winter.  If you’d like to make this cocktail sparkle, I suggest you substitute hard cider for the apple cider it calls for.  Either way, it’s totally delish!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 oz cranberry vodka
  • 2 oz apple cider (unfiltered – again, if you like sparkles, go for hard cider)
  • 1 oz cranberry juice
  • lemon wedge
  • crushed graham crackers

DIRECTIONS:

Rim a martini glass with crushed graham crackers.  Pour vodka, cider, cranberry juice in cocktail shaker 1/2 full of ice.  Shake vigorously, then strain into martini glass.  Squeeze a bit of lemon juice into the glass and drink up!
