Happy Halloween, Bar Flies!
In honor of this most unholy of occasions, this post will be short, sweet and to the point.
Shots on Saturday around this bar means spotlighting an outdated, silly or down-right ridiculous alcohol law somewhere in the world.
Today’s winner: Alaska.
Apparently, in Fairbanks, Alaska, it is illegal to serve drinks of a liquorous nature to moose. That’s right, moose cannot drink.
I’m sure there’s a Sarah Palin joke in here somewhere, but I’ll let you insert your own.
My question: does this law really have to be on the books? You know if there’s a law for something, it’s already happened.
All together now: only in Alaska!
