It’s five o’clock somewhere….

Today isn’t just Friday anymore, though, it’s Five o’clock Somewhere Friday!  Which means:  all day drink fest!  Woo-hoo!

  • Sydney, Australia:  at 2 a.m. EST, it’s 5 p.m.
  • Queensland, Australia:  at 3 a.m. EST, it’s 5 p.m.
  • Tokyo:  at 4 a.m. EST, it’s 5 p.m.
  • Hong Kong:  at 5 a.m. EST, it’s 5 p.m.
  • Hanoi:  at 6 a.m. EST, it’s 5 p.m.
  • Islamabad:  at 7 a.m. EST, it’s 5 p.m.
  • Tajikstan:  at 8 a.m. EST, it’s 5 p.m.
  • Dubai:  at 9 a.m. EST, it’s 5 p.m.

Now, if your boss wonders aloud why your cubicle smells like a distillery, you can answer that you are, in fact, showing your solidarity with our drinking allies in (insert country/city here).  It just may work, especially if you ask him/her to join you in toasting that particular land.
